Critical reflection on practice People with dementia should be recognised as equal contributors to society. The results of this study can be used as an educational tool for raising awareness of dementia and expanding community support for people living with dementia. Implications for practice Occupational therapists can contribute to building dementia-positive communities, and this will empower people with dementia to reconnect to society.
